Med Marine and Turkey’s Asya Port shook hands for a MED-A2360 model tugboat. Having signed the contract on December 31st, 2019; the vessel’s construction will be completed and she is planned to be delivered to its operator around the beginning of April. The high quality and exclusive tugboat (Hull Name: EREGLI 82) will be named as “ASYAPORT DEĞİRMENALTI” and she will be operated in Tekirdağ, in north-western part of Turkey.
“ASYAPORT DEĞİRMENALTI” is a 23m and 60 TBP ASD tugboat. The design is RAmparts 2300-MM by Robert Allan Ltd. which was exclusively made for Med Marine.
When MED-A2360 series class tugs are compared with other 60t BP designs; they are shorter, more compact and have better manoeuvrability. They are widely preferred for port operations due to their versatile and multi-purpose nature.

Med Marine is widely experienced in building Ramparts 2300 series as the company built and already delivered 8 units to this design and is currently constructing three more. “ASYAPORT DEĞİRMENALTI”’s two sisters were delivered to Saam Towage in Guatemala and Safeen in UAE in the second half of 2019.
